Theft of Motor Vehicle

In the first 6 months of this year we saw the theft of quad bikes remain historically low, however in the past month we have seen an increase in offences. Whilst a number of arrests have been made and quad bikes have been recovered, we always believe that prevention is better than cure. CCTV is available that will alert you to suspicious incidents in real time via your mobile phone, preventing crime as opposed to recording the event. Alarm padlocks and trackers are also a real aid to prevention. In light of the increase in offences, we will be stepping up our covert work over the next few months and I would like to thank the farming community for the support offered to us.
